Miami-Key Largo Race -
MUG Race
The MUG is a 38 mile distance race from Palatka to Jacksonville
Florida on the St. John's River hosted by the Rudder Club of Jacksonville. For the
8th year in a row
the MUG Race utilized a reverse handicap start and awarded the coveted MUG Cup to the
first boat to cross the finish line. Wind conditions were very light early
on, but later in the day the winds filled in and pushed Eric & Bill Roberts on
their
RC -30
through the entire fleet, delivering them line honors and the coveted MUG Cup.
